Join our caring community and help us prioritize health! Humana is actively looking for a motivated and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to enhance our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) team. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting innovative IVR solutions while developing efficient omnichannel APIs for our enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside team members to manage and plan agile tasks supporting essential cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with internal architecture and enterprise teams to establish a resilient, cutting-edge cloud environment for a prominent enterprise application. Create and present proofs-of-concept (POCs) and sample implementations for seamless adoption among agile teams. Engage with senior leadership to shape project timelines, deliverables, and strategic direction. Offer Tier 3 support during critical, high-impact incidents to ensure prompt resolution and minimize disruption. Join us to help build solutions with a direct impact on millions of customers! Required Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing code on cloud-based platforms. Proven experience with IVR systems or similar contact center technologies. Hands-on development expertise in managing large-scale cloud solutions. Strong competence in designing and implementing API/Web Services. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) implementation, testing, and monitoring processes. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or a related field. Experience with Google Cloud (GCP) Contact Center. Familiarity with SQL and MongoDB databases. Prior experience supporting applications in a Fortune 100 company. Experience in creating MCP Servers. Additional Information To support effective work for Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees, self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: A minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections can only be used if approved by leadership. Employees residing and working from Home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly payment for their internet expenses. Humana will furnish Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with appropriate telephone equipment to meet business requirements. Employees should work from a dedicated space free from interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. This is a remote position, but occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This range may vary based on location while pay will differ based on skills, experience, education, and other factors. $129,300 - $177,800 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
