The Hilton Los Angeles Airport, a Hilton corporate-managed hotel, is one of the largest hotels in the area and is located just a few miles from major venues such as SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome, and the Forum.We are excited to be growing our team and are currently seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to join us. This role will focus on selling and servicing our small group markets, working closely with clients to deliver exceptional meeting experiences from initial booking through event execution.If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy building client relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!What will I be doing?The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of small corporate and social groups, meetings, conferences, and special events at the hotel. This includes working closely with clients to plan, organize, and execute all of their group room block and event meeting requirements are met to the highest standard. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales and event professional with exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Solicit, negotiate and generate contracted revenues from potential clients that meet criteria established in the hotel business plan to achieve assigned quarterly revenue goals.Employ revenue management techniques to present proposals.Prepare and present Requests for Proposals so that both client and hotel receive good value.Prospects for new business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc.Work with the sales team to convert leads into successful bookings, ensuring maximum revenue generation for the hotel.Prepare and distribute event contracts, ensuring all details and terms are clearly defined.Serve as the main point of contact for all clients booking meetings and corporate events with Food/Beverage.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and objectives, and provide customized solutions to ensure their success.Provide expert advice and guidance on event planning, meeting space options, audio-visual requirements, catering, and logistics.Oversee the execution of all meetings and events with Food/Beverage from pre-arrival through post-event follow-up.Coordinate with internal departments, including catering, housekeeping and front desk to ensure all client specifications are met.Ensure a timely and efficient setup of meeting rooms, including seating arrangements, technology, and special requests.Actively promote and upsell additional hotel services and amenities (e.g., catering options, meeting packages, A/V equipment, etc.).Maintain constant communication with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and address any last-minute changes or issues.Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any concerns related to event logistics, service, or equipment.Ensure accurate and timely billing for all meetings and events.Maintain organized records of client communications, event details, and contracts.Develop detailed event itineraries and timelines to ensure smooth operations for each meeting or event.Gather client feedback to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.Follow up with clients after events to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business. #LI-JW1What are we looking for? 2 years of sales, catering, or events backgroundProven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goalsStrong prospector with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunitiesHighly adaptable and able to pivot quickly to manage fast turnarounds on contracts and client needs It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Catering or Sales experience within the hotel industryKnowledge of Delphi.fdc Hourly Rate: $39.42 per/hourThe Benefits - Hilton is proud to support the mental and physical wellbeing of all Team Members so they can Thrive personally and professionally in a diverse and inclusive environment, thanks to innovative programs and benefits such as: Access to pay when you need it through DailyPayMedical Insurance Coverage - for you and your familyMental health resources including Employee Assistance ProgramBest-in-Class Paid Time Off (PTO)Go Hilton travel program: 100 nights of discounted travelParental leave to support new parentsDebt-Free Education: Team Members will have access to a wide variety of educational credentials through our partnership with Guild Education, including: college degrees and professional certifications401K plan and company match to help save for your retirementHilton Shares: Our employee stock purchase program (ESPP) - you can purchase Hilton shares at a 15 percent discountCareer growth and developmentTeam Member Resource GroupsRecognition and rewards programsComplimentary ParkingComplimentary Team Member Lunch Available benefits may vary depending upon property-specific terms and conditions of employment and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement if applicable.Sales IncentiveHilton offers a best-in market SIP (Short-Term Incentive Plan) to our Sales, Catering & Events teams to reward our employees for their contributions to our company's financial success.
