Machine Mechanic - 1st Shift

Making the famous LITTLE TREES air fresheners here in the USA since 1952. Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday. Overtime may be required based on demand. Salary: $22.25 per hour, increasing to $23.75 within 6 months. Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing manufacturing machinery. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Responsibilities: • Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance • Set up and activate specialized production machinery • Performs spot weld • Assembles, installs, and dismantles machinery • Maintains hand tools in working conditions • Uses powered pallet jack • Follows all safety procedures and reports any issues to supervisor Skills and Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1 year experience in a production setting • Basic math skills • Lift up to 40 pounds • Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs, bend, lift and push • Hand eye coordination • Use of both hands and fingers • Work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to operate pallet jack.
