About the Job Wastewater Project Manager Location: Boise, Idaho. Pay Rate: Up to $90.00 per hour DOE. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00. Contract with Temp-to-Hire potential after 520 hours. Relocation assistance available up to $15,000. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in wastewater, water treatment, and similar infrastructure projects to support a large-scale advanced manufacturing expansion in Boise, Idaho. This role operates within an owner's representative structure and requires full-time onsite presence. The selected professional will lead complex capital projects, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget while maintaining strong technical, fiscal, and contractual oversight. Projects may reach up to $250 million total installed cost. Core Responsibilities:Project Leadership and Execution:Direct and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects. Develop, define, and execute project goals aligned with contract terms and corporate policies. Establish and oversee Project Management Plans, Health and Safety Plans, QA/QC Plans, and related documentation. Assign project responsibilities based on team strengths and qualifications. Maintain current and timely change orders. Establish weekly project review meetings and action tracking. Financial Management:Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit. Develop and manage project budgets. Oversee invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Identify and execute corrective action plans to address cost overruns or schedule delays. Ensure commercial performance meets or exceeds project objectives. Scope and Contract Management:Lead scope development and scope management. Monitor deliverables for compliance with project requirements. Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors. Maintain full visibility into contract obligations and performance metrics. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:Act as company representative with client and key subcontractors. Maintain strong client relationships and secure additional work opportunities. Participate in proposal development, client meetings, and presentations. Engage with regulatory agencies and support public meetings as needed. Team and Organizational Leadership:Identify project staffing plans and coordinate recruitment needs. Provide performance oversight, coaching, recognition, and disciplinary actions. Develop career growth plans for direct reports. Collaborate with engineers, discipline leads, and project staff on schedules and budgets. Coordinate office and field space requirements. Business Development and Industry Engagement:Identify pipeline opportunities and marketing events. Participate in professional committees or boards aligned with business objectives. Attend key conferences and encourage technical presentations from staff. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical or business discipline. 10+ years of related experience. Strong background in wastewater, water treatment, or comparable process infrastructure projects. Experience managing large capital projects in regulated environments. Proven financial and commercial management capability. Ability to meet internal project management certification requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership presence and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. Thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices. U.S. Citizenship required. Professional registration may be required. Compliance Requirements:7-year county criminal background check. 7-year national criminal file search. 9-panel drug screen.
