CNA/NA/PCA

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a child with intellectual disabilities, including non-verbal autism and ADHD. The caregiver will play a vital role in ensuring the child's safety, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs), and transporting the child to counseling/therapy services three times a week. Must pick up client from his home in New Kent and transported to Williamsburg Virginia. After therapy client must be transported back home to New Kent. Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities (feeding, dressing, hygiene, and supervision). Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from counseling services(35 minutes away). Offer patience, consistency, and structured support in daily routines. Promote a positive and supportive environment tailored to the child's needs. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding progress and concerns. Qualifications Experience required: Minimum of 1-2 years working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication strategies. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required). CNA/NA/PCA certificate CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Must pass background check and provide references. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: 3 days per week, aligned with counseling appointment times. Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
