About the Role: The Maintenance Technician IV plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of facility equipment and systems across our United States locations. This senior-level position involves diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, performing advanced repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential equipment failures and recommending upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician IV contributes significantly to maintaining a safe, reliable, and productive work environment through expert technical skills and leadership in maintenance practices. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance roles with increasing responsibility. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites within the United States as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree Install maintain and troubleshooting automated control systems (Allen - Bradley / siemens ) Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and predictive maintenance technologies. Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance team environment. Responsibilities: Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvements. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities. Document maintenance work, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of equipment status and repairs. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to minimize operational disruptions. Skills: The required skills enable the Maintenance Technician IV to effectively diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are applied daily to maintain and optimize machinery performance. The ability to read technical documents and schematics supports accurate repairs and installations. Preferred skills such as CMMS proficiency and safety certifications enhance the technician's capability to manage maintenance workflows and uphold workplace safety standards. Leadership and mentoring skills are utilized to guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and skilled maintenance team.
