Title: Revenue Cycle Director Compensation: Up to $185,000 (depending on experience) Work Model: Full-Time On-Site in New Haven CountyOverview of Position: The Revenue Cycle Director provides strategic and operational leadership over the organization’s end-to-end revenue cycle. This role focuses on strengthening revenue integrity, accelerating cash flow, improving processes, and ensuring compliance, while partnering closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams. This is a highly visible leadership position ideal for a results-driven professional who enjoys building scalable processes, leveraging data and technology, and leading teams through change in a complex, fast-paced environment. Key Areas of Focus: Leadership & Strategy Lead and develop teams responsible for revenue cycle operations, setting clear goals and performance expectations. Establish and monitor key performance metrics to improve efficiency, cash flow, and overall financial performance. Partner with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational objectives. Identify opportunities to enhance performance through process improvement, automation, and technology. Revenue Performance & Optimization Oversee revenue integrity initiatives, including billing accuracy, denial prevention, and reimbursement optimization. Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to improve collections and reduce revenue leakage. Manage payer relationships and support resolution of reimbursement and payment issues. Ensure strong collaboration across finance, operations, and clinical/functional teams to support accurate revenue capture. Operational & Financial Oversight Provide oversight of revenue cycle workflows from front-end processes through billing, follow-up, and collections. Evaluate and streamline processes to remove bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to revenue cycle operations. Present insights, trends, and performance updates to senior leadership. Systems, Controls & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, payer requirements, and internal policies. Partner with IT and systems teams to optimize the use of billing platforms and reporting tools. Support audits and ensure strong internal controls and data integrity. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle, billing, collections, or complex financial operations. Strong understanding of revenue operations, performance metrics, and process optimization. Experience leading teams, managing change, and working cross-functionally. Systems-oriented mindset with experience leveraging technology and analytics to drive results. Healthcare, payer, or regulated-industry experience highly preferred #INFEB2026 #LI-EL1
