Your primary responsibility will be maintaining, repairing industrial converting, and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Maintain and optimize equipment performance Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including programmable controllers, A/C and D/C drives Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work Use maintenance software programs effectively Train other maintenance staff Ensure quality control and maximize equipment utilization Complete required paperwork accurately and on time Maintain good housekeeping in work areas Comply with all company policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED Personal tools necessary for maintenance tasks Preferred Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Corrugated industry Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Skills Language: Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters Mathematical: Proficient with tape measure Calculate percentages, measurements, volume, and rates Apply high school math concepts Reasoning: Apply common sense to carry out instructions Problem-solving skills for standardized situations Technical: Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities Understanding of product layouts and production specifications Familiarity with quality standards Physical Demands Regularly stand, walk, talk, and hear Frequently use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally sit Lift up to 50 pounds regularly Specific vision abilities required Work Environment Non-climate controlled Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions Occasional exposure to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration Typically loud noise levels Pratt is America's 5th largest corrugated packaging company and the world's largest, privately-held 100% recycled paper and packaging company, with more than 10,000 highly-skilled, green-collar employees dedicated to the environment and sustainability.
