Maintenance Mechanic

Position: Maintenance Mechanic Shift: Second shift (12-hour shift) Location: Woodburn, OR Pay: $30 per hour + shift differential + great benefits Status: Full-time Permanent Qualifications: Experience in Maintenance, millwright, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyor systems. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical issues, with the ability to determine root causes and implement both short-term and long-term solutions. Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, maintenance instructions, and specifications. Strong understanding of safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Valid driver's license and clean DMV report. Completion of a forklift safety training course. Preferred Qualifications: Welding and fabrication experience. Experience in food production environments. Familiarity with boilers, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including refrigeration systems, power transmission components, and pneumatic systems. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to identify issues and implement solutions. Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment meets operational standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Complete repairs on boilers, gear systems, and control instruments as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in optimizing maintenance processes for improved efficiency and reduced downtime
