DescriptionLocation: McLean, VA Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Summary Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community in McLean, VA, is seeking a creative and organized Special Events Coordinator to plan and execute engaging community wide events and signature programs. This role is responsible for coordinating holiday celebrations, themed events, performances, and special gatherings that enhance residents quality of life and foster a strong sense of community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating meaningful experiences for older adults. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Recreation, Communications, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an Adult Care Residence (ACR), nursing home, senior living community, or related setting preferred. Experience planning and coordinating events, programs, or community activities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Creative, energetic, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic event planning tools. Flexible schedule, including availability for occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
