Contract Specialist

Our client, a government organization supporting municipal operations, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be part of the Vendor Software and Asset Management (VSAM) program supporting cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Contract Specialist Location: Remote What's the Job? Support contract negotiations, redlines, and approval processes with legal, procurement, and business teams Manage vendor communications and maintain comprehensive contract documentation Track deliverables, deadlines, and action items across multiple stakeholders Facilitate meetings and ensure follow-through on decisions and commitments Assist with contract renewals and support procurement workflows during peak periods What's Needed? Experience supporting contracts, procurement, or vendor management in a compliance-driven environment Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Teams Familiarity with procurement platforms like Jaggaer is preferred What's in it for me?
