Janitorial Team MemberWild Waves Theme & Waterpark Position Summary Park Services / Janitorial Team Members are responsible for maintaining restrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, and general park areas in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming condition for guests and team members. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the park remains visually appealing, safe, and enjoyable throughout daily operations. Team Members in this position are expected to deliver friendly, professional service while maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards. Skills, Requirements & Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred Ability to work independently while multitasking and prioritizing tasks Strong communication skills with guests, coworkers, and management Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays General Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest Service Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to guests Follow all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines outlined in the Team Member Handbook Safety Support Wild Waves' safety-first culture by maintaining a safe work environment and identifying potential hazards Teamwork Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leadership toward shared park goals Restrooms, Changing Rooms & Locker Rooms Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, urinals, and changing areas throughout the day Restock supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap Perform deep cleaning of high-touch and high-traffic areas as needed General Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness throughout the park, including walkways, seating areas, attractions, and back-of-house spaces Specific Duties & Responsibilities Sweep and mop floors and walkways throughout the park Perform pressure washing of facilities and attraction areas as assigned Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Clean and wipe down tables, chairs, and guest seating areas Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, park vehicles, and Park Services back areas Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and appropriately Perform additional duties as assigned based on department and park needs Physical Demands & Work Environment This position is primarily outdoors and requires working in varied weather conditions and climates, including heat, rain, wind, and cooler temperatures Extensive walking throughout the park, including up and down hills, stairs, uneven terrain, and occasionally slippery surfaces Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching Occasional climbing or balancing Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Noise levels may range from moderate to high Reasonable accommodations may be provided to support team members in performing the essential functions of this position. Pay Range: $18.25 per hour
