Tonganoxie Terrace is actively hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care. The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) plays a key role in medication accuracy, resident safety, and daily clinical support. As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will work closely with nursing staff to ensure medications are delivered correctly and on time. What We OfferCompensation: $20 - $24.50 per hour Benefits Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Schedule and Employment Type Part-Time Evenings (2PM - 10PM) | Every Other Weekend Only Total of 16 hours every other weekend This position is specifically for weekend float coverage. Please NoteThe selected candidate will perform CNA duties during the first portion of the shift (2PM - 6PM) and CMA duties during the second portion of the shift (6PM - 10PM).CMA Key Responsibilities Administer medications as the Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in accordance with state regulations and physician orders Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions Accurately document medication administration and report concerns promptly Communicate resident condition changes to nursing staff Follow medication safety, infection control, and documentation standards Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks as assigned Perform Certified Nursing Assistant duties during a portion of the assigned shift, based on licensure and facility needs CNA Key Responsibilities Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices Observe residents closely and report condition changes to nursing staff Support meals, hydration, and feeding as needed Promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards Qualifications • Current state certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) • Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) • Experience performing both CNA and CMA duties preferred • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills If you are a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who takes pride in quality resident care, apply today to join our care team at Tonganoxie Terrace.
