Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Maintenance Technician II your roles and responsibilities will include: Diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including: Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and components Variable speed AC and DC motor drives Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Communication and radio control systems PCs, peripherals, and related systems Diagnose, test, and repair combustion systems Inspect and troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, voltmeters, PCs, and signal generators Replace defective components, wiring, and adjust mechanical parts Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment per specifications Calibrate testing instruments and maintain repair/test records Install, repair, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment (pressure, flow, temperature, force, and chemical composition) Operate production equipment for diagnostic/testing purposes Use computers to troubleshoot, repair, upgrade process control equipment, and modify/store schematics Instruct maintenance repair crews when required QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Maintenance Technician II who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Maintenance Technician II would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Either: Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, OR Associate's degree in electrical or mechanical-related curriculum 2-5 years of experience preferred Ability to work onsite (no remote work) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, calibration, and diagnostics We understand that even if you are a seasoned Maintenance Technician II you may not have all the skills listed here.
