Job Type Full-time Description The Comin' Up Site Director is a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations, programming, and partnerships of a designated site. This role combines leadership, program implementation, community engagement, and administrative oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with organizational and grant requirements. This role requires consistent communication with senior leadership, accurate and timely data reporting, and strict adherence to safety, compliance, and transportation protocols. The goal of the Comin' Up is to positively impact the lives of at-risk and gang-involved youth by providing needs-based services and activities to reduce the level of gang violence in the City of Fort Worth. Location: Las Vegas Trail - 8124 Calmont Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76116 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership: A competent and credible leader whom others choose to follow Define vision clearly and how to get there Execute strategy and consistently achieve results Coach team to improve performance, solve problems, and grow careers Work with leadership and management to assist in carrying out responsibilities on personnel matters Participation: Implement the recruitment plan and meet the participation goal Case Management: Accountable for case management processes and outcomes Utilize coordinated service delivery approach at assigned site; ensure multi-disciplinary team is functioning at an optimal level Program Implementation: Coordination and supervision of wrap-around social services for participants, including: case management, GED instruction, referrals for vocational training, implementation of early-intervention activities, needs-based and life-skills groups, etc. Responsible for coordinating program vision and regular communication with the branch director to ensure a smooth transition between programming and services Accountable for the successful implementation and completion of grant and contract requirements; responsible for the accurate completion of monthly and other programmatic internal and external reporting for the site Facility and Child Safety: Accountable for adherence to all organizational health and safety policies and implementation of all safety practices and procedures at assigned work location(s) Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect members, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities. Abide by facility maintenance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance Accountable for reporting incidents and completing documentation within the required timeline Maintain discipline, de-escalate conflict between members and/or others Obtain and renew CPR and First Aid certification by the deadline Administrative Compliance: Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time. Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively Relationships: Be a positive role model Maintain emotional control and make good decisions under pressure Represent the Boys & Girls Club in a positive manner Attendance: Regular attendance is required; arrive on time; punctuality is required Requirements Education and Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience; social service majors preferred Experience with management, fiscal responsibility, case management, and youth programming Minimum two years of experience working with at-risk and/or gang-involved youth Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work regular program hours, Monday - Friday Ability to attract, train, and retain qualified personnel Ability to establish rapport and build relationships Ability to persuade, influence, and motivate others into action Demonstrated success in managing relationships with varied community stakeholders. Effective time management, organizational, and planning skills; Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies and methodology Experience in successfully meeting government-funded contracts with deliverables for performance Knowledge of problems and barriers at-risk youth face Must be a team player, willing to collaborate and make team decisions Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification Must be able to pass any required background screens and drug screens at any time Must have a satisfactory driving record, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual Currently certified in CPR/First Aid Demonstrated past successful experience managing employee payroll processes, related employee benefit tracking such as absences and hours worked, recruitment/selection of potential employees, discipline, promotion, evaluation, and termination. Experience or knowledge of Boys & Girls Club movement (national and/or local) Experience with multi-disciplinary teams Knowledge of case management techniques Knowledge of gangs and/or gang activity; knowledge of gang culture and gang intervention.
