You'll work with a diverse global team of developers, designers, and content creators to help shape the digital experience across multiple web properties.What You'll Do at Pega: ​​​​Architect, develop, and maintain web applications using both front-end and server-side technologies. Collaborate with front-end architects and developers to integrate user interfaces with server-side logic. Collaborate with backend developers, database engineers and external providers to orchestrate microservices and build middleware solutions. Design and implement RESTful APIs. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications. ​Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. ​Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals. Learn and evangelize emerging technologies and industry trends. Who You Are: Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems. Deep experience with React and/or modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue or Angular). Experience with headless application design, server-side rendering, and/or Drupal Canvas a plus. Deep experience with Drupal backend custom development. Experience with other backend web frameworks/platforms in either PHP (e.g. Symfony, Laravel) or Node.js (e.g. Express). ) a plus. Expertise in database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and related DevOps tools and best practices. Experience working on Agile scrum teams and participating in Agile activities. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). Experience or interest in cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud vendors like AWS, GCS, and Microsoft Azure. Experience and interest in generative AI, large language models and autonomous agents. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Lifelong learner who is always excited about new technologies.
