Battery Technician (UPS)

Battery TechnicianLocation - Atlanta, GA Salaries range from $30k - $40k plus 401k, Health Insurance, Vacation, PTO and Bonus scheme. Our Client: • Leading provider of critical power solutions and infrastructure services, supporting large-scale UPS systems and DC power installations. Key Responsibilities: • Perform quarterly battery maintenance on large UPS systems using specialized testing equipment. • Install and remove batteries and peripheral UPS equipment. • Conduct preventative maintenance in compliance with I.E.E.E standards. • Maintain safety standards, proper equipment use, and adherence to company protocols. The successful candidate must have/show: • Electrical or mechanical experience (1 year preferred). • DC power or battery maintenance experience (1 year preferred). • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to adapt to change, follow instructions, and complete tasks reliably. • Mechanical and electrical aptitude with knowledge of battery testing and maintenance. • Commitment to safety standards (OSHA, NFPA70e, I.E.E.E) and organizational values. • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, travel as required, and work varied shifts. • Must pass drug screening and background checks.
