Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily front desk operations ensuring phones, guests, and communications are handled promptly and professionallyEnsure visitors and guests are greeted warmly and escorted appropriatelyMaintain a clean, organized, and fully functional front desk and lobby areaCheck students, parents, and volunteers in and out daily, including managing tardy arrivals and early dismissalsParticipate in fire and emergency drillsAwareness of who is entering the lobby, and monitoring safety via camerasCommunicate effectively with parents and relay messages accuratelySign contractors and volunteers in using Navigate-360 and manage key distribution logsCollect incoming mail and hand deliver to the appropriate departmentMaintain and manage the master campus calendar, including scheduling meeting spaces such as the Hobbs Center and Conference RoomAssist walk-in guests by answering questions and providing directionsMaintain and strengthen the foundation of Urban Youth Impact's Volunteer ProgramRecruit volunteers for programs, outreach opportunities, community events, and fundraising initiativesManage volunteer onboarding including background checks, intake processing, and orientationProvide volunteer training including overviews, cultural sensitivity, and discipline proceduresMaintain and update volunteer databaseFoster volunteer engagement through consistent communication, appreciation events, recognition efforts, and relational connectionCoordinate and administer PBA Work-study student intake and schedulingThis role is successful when the front desk operations consistently run smoothly, professionally, and efficiently. All students, volunteers, guests, and parents experience a welcoming and organized environment. Phones are answered promptly and communications are handled effectively. The campus master calendar is maintained accurately with no scheduling conflict. Volunteer recruitment numbers are consistently meeting program and event needs, with strong volunteer retention rates year over year and positive feedback from volunteer satisfaction surveys. Volunteer database is maintained accurately and consistently updated.We are looking for someone who has strong relational and interpersonal skills with a warm and inviting personality. Other key traits include security consciousness, ability to multi-task, and work independently with minimal supervision.Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative, volunteer coordination, or customer service experience preferred.
