Job Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and support with daily living activities. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a respectful and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Uphold and promote the philosophy of encouraging self-care and independence among residents. Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and experiences of residents, with sensitivity to the aging process. Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure quality care. Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotional situations. Remain composed during emergencies and maintain a calm environment with low noise levels. Assist the Dietary department as needed. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the relevant state. Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification required. Preferred: Certifications in Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living. At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar is a plus. Professional Requirements: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Demonstrate punctuality and complete assigned tasks within designated timelines. Communicate courteously and respectfully with patients, guests, and staff.
