Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 Hourly Location : 2301 Tower Drive, MN Job Type: Seasonal Job Number: 202600928 Department: Public Works Division: Parks & Forestry Opening Date: 02/02/2026 Closing Date: 3/31/2026 11:59 PM Central Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide experience to individuals enrolled in a horticulture or landscape design related education / training program. This position will mainly perform horticulture duties with the City of Woodbury Horticulture Crew along with other possible routine Park Maintenance tasks as needed. Responsible for general maintenance of landscaped areas throughout the City of Woodbury Tasks could include but are not limited to the following: Maintaining annual, perennial, and woody plant material. Including working within the roadway median and roundabout beds. Watering, weed control, trimming, perennial cutbacks Application of herbicides and fertilizers Plant removal / bed renovations and new plantings Driving a pickup truck Assist with other park maintenance activities Desired work hours are M-Th, 7am-3pm. 32hrs / week.
