Stand Up Forklift Operator

Job Description Client Information- Far west side of Indianapolis international company specializing personal care, hygiene, etc. products. Job Summary- Responsible for line stocking and warehousing of raw materials. Job Duties • Verify materials supplied to production are correct and match job per specification sheet • Deliver raw materials to machine locations from warehouse line staging and or warehouse locations. • Inspect pallets for broken or missing boards, protruding nails; other defects. • Attach finished good tags to pallet side and load into trailer • Remove raw materials from machine area at changeovers, re-wrap all raw materials before returning them to warehouse storage and verify counts • Review daily schedule for planning purposes and calculate material requirements • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Maintain good housekeeping in materials storage area • Comfortable with being crossed trained • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required • Two (2) plus years of warehouse experience • Must possess good mathematical skills; able to operate a forklift (standup); reach truck exp. • Previous RF Scanner experience • Shift: 6pm to 6am and 6am to 6pm(12 hour shift) 2-2-3 schedule • Competitive health insurance and benefits • Must pass 5 panel drug screen • Criminal Background: Misdemeanor okay: No drug possession, violent theft charges in pass 3 years, no dealing charges in the pass 7 years) • Criminal Background: Felony over 3 years old • Hourly wage: starting at $22.09 hourly (attendance policy in place)
