Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Night Shift - 12 Hour Shift) The Maintenance Technician is responsible for machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across the manufacturing facility to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, production, and utility equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Complete emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance as needed Diagnose equipment issues using testing tools and observation Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes Set up and adjust machinery for production runs Fabricate parts using machine shop equipment when needed Support engineering projects and process improvements Maintain accurate maintenance logs and communicate updates to team members Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or awkward spaces when necessary Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Technical or post-secondary training preferred 7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required Experience with PLC and VFD systems highly preferred #IND
