Thoroughly document all procedures, help educate new staff members or interns, and ensure high-quality lab standards are met. Uphold a safe, organized workspace and comply with regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of employment. Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
