Highlights of the Adult Medicine Department include: NCQA-Recognized Diabetes Program Top-performing Ryan White Program Robust Care Coordination Team Collaborative leadership culture with strong operational support The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Clinical Director will work closely with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Director of Infectious Diseases to lead the department's clinical and operational performance. This role offers a balanced mix of: Direct patient care Strategic leadership Clinical operations oversight Provider mentorship and team development You will play a key role in improving workflow, enhancing patient satisfaction, strengthening financial performance, and driving continuous quality improvement. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Eligibility for (or active) Connecticut Physician License Commitment to high-quality, efficient patient care Comfort serving underserved populations with complex needs Experience supervising APRNs and/or PAs Strong communication and team-building skills Experience with EHR systems Data-driven decision-making skills Understanding of compliance and quality improvement initiatives Leadership experience in a large health center or private practice setting is preferred; however, we welcome physicians who demonstrate strong clinical excellence and leadership potential.
