Since 1953, South Florida Baptist Hospital has been a trusted and loved hospital for all our community's health and wellness needs. Our new 204-bed replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024 offers many more services than a standard community hospital, as we're part of the BayCare family of health care facilities.Occupational Therapist Pool Responsibilities: Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and improve independence in activities of daily living. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehab professionals to ensure coordinated care. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.
