Talent Acquisition RecruiterContract-to-Hire Opportunity Duration: 6 months (Contract-to-Direct Hire Possible) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Recruiter I provides high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders in support of identifying, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates who meet project-specific needs and applicable federal and state requirements. This role supports recruiting operations through hands-on recruiting and administrative activities including candidate sourcing assistance, screening coordination, interview scheduling, onboarding, and compliance processing. This is an entry-level recruiting position focused on accuracy, responsiveness, and process execution, while offering exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle within a structured, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews to identify qualified candidates for corporate or project-specific needs. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support contingent offer processes in compliance with federal and state regulations. Manage employment requisitions, ensuring accurate review, edits, approvals, and tracking. Track, analyze, and report staffing data using Microsoft Office and internal systems. Build and maintain job descriptions based on project requirements and scope of work. Lead employee redeployment efforts through proactive communication with individuals nearing assignment completion. Execute all administrative and compliance steps of the hiring process, including background checks, drug and health screenings, I-9 and E-Verify processing, and employment documentation. Provide comprehensive administrative support with a focus on data accuracy, timely system updates, and complete documentation. Coordinate and track internal employee transfers across multiple sites, maintaining real-time status updates and compliance with labor and organizational policies. Follow up with hiring managers and employees to close workflow gaps and ensure timely completion of hiring and transfer activities. Draft and manage internal communications related to onboarding, transfers, status updates, and employee notifications. Monitor deadlines and deliverables, escalate delays when necessary, and support workflow continuity. Perform quality checks on employee files, transfer documentation, requisitions, and system entries. Support internal mobility and redeployment initiatives by tracking assignment end dates and maintaining active pipelines. Generate reports using Excel, ATS dashboards, and internal templates related to hiring activity, transfers, and administrative metrics. Partner with HR, Operations, Payroll, and site leadership to ensure smooth employee transitions. Maintain organized, confidential records and ensure proper version control of job descriptions and process documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities & Experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to quickly learn and navigate applicant tracking and workforce management systems. Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, presentation, and teamwork. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service. Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of related recruiting, sourcing, or administrative experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience. PHR or SHRM-CP certification. Experience in administration, customer service, human resources, industrial construction, and/or nuclear-related environments.
