They are looking to add a Senior Buyer to their team who will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for electronic components. Why join us? Compensation Up To $90,000 Great Benefits Strong 401K Plan Growth Opportunities Job Details Key Responsibilities: Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms for material and electronic components. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier capabilities to drive cost savings and improve procurement efficiency in the EMS sector Work closely with program management, engineering, and operation teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Proactively assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier performance metrics. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably within electronics (PCBA's, Semiconductors etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis). Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Macola, Syteline, Epicor) and quoting software.
