Adecco is hiring immediately for an Operations Specialist position in San Antonio, TX. Weekly pay starting at $18.00 p/hr. This is an opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. Position Summary The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting daily operational activities by coordinating customer orders and facilitating seamless communication across departments. This position partners closely with Sales, Procurement, Production and Quality to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of chemical orders while delivering a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities • Enter and process sales orders accurately; provide timely order confirmations to customers • Perform data entry for incoming and outgoing products • Support main telephone line and direct inquiries appropriately • Provide customers with tracking details, documentation, and applicable post-sale support as required • Communicate order status updates to customers via email and phone • Coordinate shipment pickups with logistics providers, customer and freight forwarders • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Production, the Chief Chemist, and Quality Assurance to ensure successful order fulfillment • Print and prepare required product documentation including product labels, GHS labels, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and related materials • Receive incoming materials and coordinate with the QC laboratory for required testing • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders • Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including CRM and ERP platforms • Experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred • Prior experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred Skills & Competencies • High integrity, dependability, and strong sense of urgency • Results-oriented with strong follow-through • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to follow written procedures accurately • Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Primarily office-based, with occasional exposure to warehouse or production areas • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds (e.g., files, supplies, or product samples) What's in this for you?
