Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Elkins, WV Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Elkins, WV Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Call Coverage Period: 04/16/2026 Ongoing (6-month contract) Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call coverage COVERAGE DATES Starting 04/16/2026 Ongoing Estimated coverage need: 510 shifts per month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Obstetric and Gynecologic patients Admissions: Yes Case Mix: Comprehensive labor and delivery coverage in a Level IV trauma hospital; IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, LEEP procedures, vulvar biopsy, and incision and drainage of Bartholin cysts are routinely performed, along with comprehensive routine gynecology care. In addition, full-scope routine obstetrical services are provided, including prenatal management, delivery support, and postpartum care.
