Job Description The Warehouse Manager position is key to ensure that Materials Management Warehouses support Reliability Centered Maintenance objectives and processes to achieve expected improvements in maintenance reliability and the associated financial benefits. Materials Management is a service organization that is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all activities related to the flow of materials to support operational equipment maintenance. Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination of the following Warehouse Activities Coordination and ensure all procedures surrounding the maintenance, housekeeping, and safety within the warehouse and inventory locations are maintained. Coordination of all inventory related warehouse transactions and related goals. Develop, implement and train personnel as required. Delivery of all material to repair turn, outage, and project sites Establish and coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations for material being transferred in and out of the warehouse Emergency delivery and expediting requirements Physical inventory of warehouses and system adjustments Delivery packing slip and material receipt paperwork and systems interface All inventory tagging and bar coding activities All activities around receipt and delivery of special handling materials Shipping of all material being sent to repair facilities Inspection program for all incoming materials Development and reporting of goals and objectives. Oversee the coordination of the following Inventory Activities: Develop strategic warehouse and inventory goals Plant efforts to reduce material inventory and recognize cost savings opportunities Vendor interactions for VMI activities and work to reduce the Overall material costs Authorization of min/max adjustments to stocking inventories All required reporting and tracking activitiesv Interact with the plant Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, and Operating Personnel to reduce inventory, streamline material shipping and deliveries, and improve the overall maintenance reliability functions Work with the Materials Management Group at other facilities and the Plant Maintenance Personnel to sell-off unused inventory Investigate and implement warehouse and inventory procedures and state of the art tools and equipment to facilitate the processes Maintenance, Planning & Reliability Support maintenance planning and scheduling functions meet the operational requirements of the business plan. Develop, implement and train personnel as required Support and coordinate strategic maintenance initiatives / improvements with engineering. Interact with key customers to ensure operating unit reliability. Support adherence to Corporate PM program objectives. Work with all plant department reliability assurance specialists to insure critical equipment listings are accurate & complete. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business. Ability to establish and implement a vision for improved Reliability and Warehouse processes to lead groups to become world class Ability and willingness to interface and communicate effectively to all Plant Personnel on all levels (written, oral) Familiarization in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Strong experience with, and knowledge of, supply chain process and systems. (i.e. Oracle) Strong experience with all Microsoft products. A proven track record of leadership success and the ability to motivate and develop strong professionals in a quickly changing environment.
