Part Time/ On-call Inter-Company Driver The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central Illinois. We have been family owned since 1963 with 13 dealerships across Central Illinois. We are a premier family owned automotive group. We employ almost 700 talented individuals and just celebrated 60 years in business! We are needing to add to our pool of on-call drivers to assist with shuttling company vehicles from branch to branch, conduct dealer trades, collect or distribute auction units, shuttle vehicle to customers and handle any paperwork required on an as needed basis. This is a great job for retirees or anyone who has an open schedule and is looking for something to do. It is a fun drive for anyone who likes to drive and experience a huge variety of cars and trucks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Shuttle vehicles between our stores located in Peoria, Morton, and Bloomington. Deliver vehicles and/or paperwork to clients and ensure any documents that require signatures are completed as requested Pick up and deliver dealer trades with necessary paperwork Make trips to pick up purchased auction units Delivering any wholesale auction units to the area auctions Complete any other drivers as requested by the store manager You are an extension of the Leman dealerships and courteous and cordial dispositions are required at all times Requirements: Valid Illinois drivers license A clean DMV report No restrictions on driving Insurable by the employers carrier Ability to enter and exit a wide variety of vehicles Drives range from a few miles to out of state trips, but the driver has the luxury of accepting or declining any job offered to them. We will try to accommodate individual needs on distances, hours, and locations. While you are considered an on-call employee, you will be part of the Leman team and on company payroll! While it is a minimum wage position, it is not about the money, it is about getting out of the house and traveling all over the place...and we pay you to do it!
