HYBRID WALK IN ORTHOPEDIC PA OPPORTUNITY Marshall is seeking a full-time physician assistant to do a hybrid role focusing on our walkin Orthopedic clinic, while incorporating a standard practice model of an Orthopedic PA. The position will primarily focus on a PA run walk-in Orthopedic clinic seeing patients that need immediate care. This provider will join a well-established group of highly trained APPs and surgeons. This role will focus on urgent care Orthopedic skills while getting dedicated scheduled clinic days and surgical assisting. The walk-in clinic will focus on acute Orthopedic care such as injections, casting, fracture reduction, basic injuries (sports and recreational), etc. An Orthopedics surgeon is on site daily until 5pm for consults and available after hours by telephone. The standard clinic practice will include performing office visits for pre-op and post- op patients, procedures and injections along with managing clinic patients. OR time will be given with the potential to support up to 5 Orthopedic surgeons. OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS Competitive salary: $191,000 benefits Malpractice coverage Full-time position – four to five days per week o 32 face to face hours over a minimum of 4 days per week o 188 workdays per year Around 80 workdays per year are dedicated to the walk-in clinic Backup coverage for the walk-in clinic is mandatory to ensure it remains open if colleagues are on leave, PTO, etc. Walk-in clinic location: El Dorado Hills o Monday – Friday :11 am – 7 pm Orthopedic Clinic locations: El Dorado Hills and Placerville Surgical locations: Placerville (Hospital) and Cameron Park (Ambulatory Surgery Center) Assist orthopedist with inpatient, outpatient, and ED cases during normal business hours at a level III trauma center Opportunity to work in close partnership with multiple Orthopedic surgeons Ability to work in a beautiful brand-new outpatient clinic in El Dorado Hills Orthopedic experience or Urgent Care experience preferred Strong PPO population REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Graduate of an accredited PA program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant Unrestricted California license or ability to obtain a CA license Certification by the NCCPA EMR Proficient in EPIC preferred BLS DEA license LOCATION & LIFESTYLE Live and work in the beautiful Sierra Foothills near national forest land, lakes and rivers Easy drives to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, San Francisco and the coast Brand new neighborhoods, shopping centers, restaurants and schools Outstanding quality of life, ideal for families California real estate at reasonable prices Nearby city amenities, including fine dining, shopping, wine tasting, professional sports and international airport WANT TO KNOW MORE?
