Plastic Injection Mold Operator / Rods End - Second Shift Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Training Requirement: Must be able to train on Day Shift for 30+ daysStarting Pay: $20-$21/hr. Requirements Must pass a drug screen No felony convictions Steel?toed boots and safety glasses required Dress code: nothing inappropriate or offensive Highly detail oriented Strong focus on quality Able to learn quickly Comfortable working in a fast?paced environment Able to work with small, molded parts Position Overview The Plastic Injection Mold Operator supports the molding process by operating injection molding machines, removing finished parts, inspecting components, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Work may involve molded components used in rod ends, requiring precision, consistency, and adherence to strict quality standards. Training will include machine operation, workflow expectations, and an introduction to the molding process during the plant tour. Primary Job Duties Machine Operation & Monitoring Operate plastic injection molding machines throughout production cycles Remove molded parts from machines once cycles are complete Perform basic trimming or flash removal Monitor machines for consistent operation and report abnormalities Ensure correct mold setup is running (no technical changeovers required) Quality Inspection Inspect molded parts for defects, inconsistencies, and precise specifications Verify part counts and ensure each batch meets quality requirements Follow quality procedures and document findings as needed Workstation & Process Management Maintain a clean and organized workstation Follow production work instructions and molding process guidelines Prepare the area for each production run Keep accurate counts and track production activity in systems such as SAP Reporting & Communication Report directly to the Shipping Supervisor Communicate issues related to machine performance, mold defects, or quality concerns #IND002 #ZIP
