Job Title: Appian DeveloperLocation: Austin, TX (Hybrid) - only local to texas Duration: Long Term Contract Start Date: ASAP Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Appian application development, system integration, and workflow optimization to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions that enhance business efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Appian BPM applications using Appian Designer and related tools. Create and maintain process models, interfaces, expressions, records, and reports within the Appian environment. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Integrate Appian applications with external systems and databases using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods. Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability through effective design and optimization practices. Perform unit testing, debugging, and production deployment of Appian applications. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team knowledge-sharing activities. Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot application or integration issues as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: 9+ years of experience as an Appian Developer, with hands-on experience in Appian 21.x or higher. Strong understanding of BPM concepts, process modeling, and workflow automation. Proficient in Appian objects such as process models, interfaces, records, expressions, reports, and sites. Experience integrating Appian with external APIs, databases, and third-party tools. Knowledge of SQL, Java, JavaScript, and web services (REST/SOAP) is preferred. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
