Mechanical Millwright

Job DescriptionJob Description: We are seeking a skilled Millwright with experience in bolt-up work and setting tanks to join our team. This position involves precision alignment, assembly, and securing of tanks and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, proven bolt-up experience, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:Perform bolt-up work, rigging, and precise alignment for tank installation. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Set and anchor tanks according to project requirements. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper assembly and fit-up. Conduct pre-task planning and adhere to all safety protocols. Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a millwright or in bolt-up tank setting. Strong mechanical skills and experience working with heavy equipment and structural components. Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and schematics. Knowledge of proper torqueing, gasket installation, and sealing procedures. Rigging experience is a plus. OSHA or MSHA certification preferred. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Capable of standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
