POS Tester - QSR

Job Description ITTConnect is seeking a POS Tester to work for a client in the US. This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the quick serve restaurants industry. Job location: Atlanta, GA on site Perform manual functional testing of POS systems across in store, drive thru, curbside, and mobile order flows Validate order lifecycle: order entry, modifications, cancellations, refunds, and voids Test payment processing including credit/debit cards, gift cards, loyalty points, mobile wallets, and coupons Verify menu configuration, pricing rules, tax calculations, combos, and promotions Test integrations with: Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) Order Management Systems (OMS) Inventory and back-office systems Conduct end to end testing across POS, mobile app, and backend systems Perform regression testing for new releases, hotfixes, and menu updates Execute UAT support and coordinate with business stakeholders during release cycles Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps Validate POS performance during peak hours scenarios (breakfast/lunch rush, promotions) Ensure compliance with PCI standards and data security requirements Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports Requirements 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in POS testing (retail or hospitality domain preferred). Strong experience in Manual Testing of POS systems Hands on experience with QSR or Retail POS applications (Chick fil A preferred) Good understanding of: POS hardware (registers, scanners, receipt printers, card readers) Drive thru and curbside workflows Experience testing payment gateways and tender types Knowledge of menu management and promotions testing Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills Excellent communication skills to work with business, QA, and development teams
