Salary: $18.00 - $18.50 Hourly Location : Parks and Recreation 710 Irving St Caldwell ID 83605, ID Job Type: Seasonal Job Number: 202400196 Department: Recreation Opening Date: 02/03/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Description The City of Caldwell Pool is looking to hire multiple Pool Shift Manager's for the 2026 season. Individuals assist with day-to-day pool operations. Ensures patron safety and acts as a manager in the pool manager's absence. This position is part-time, seasonal and located at the Caldwell Memorial Pool. This position is required to perform emergency medical and lifesaving activities. The principal duties of this position are performed indoors as well as in an outdoor environment, which may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards. Responsibilities Provides customer service to pool patrons. Assists with daily admissions and lesson administration. Enforces pool rules. Supports swim lesson operations including communication and swimmer evaluations. Supervises seasonal lifeguards and swim instructors. Provides input to the manager regarding staff evaluations. Performs cashiering duties and creates daily deposits. Uses cash register or a computer with recreation software. Enforces pool rules and has authority to ask patrons to leave the facility. Performs general pool maintenance and maintains proper chemical balance in pool. Uses a test kit to check chemical balance of pool. Cleans hair catchers, backwashes the filtration system, and vacuums the pool for debris. Maintains a safe pool, deck area, and office. Attends training to learn proper pool maintenance and safety techniques. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsOne year experience working in a pool facility, administrative duties, and personnel management Preferred Qualifications: Two years' experience working in a pool facility, administrative duties, and personnel management Licensing, Certifications, and Other Requirements: Valid and current driver's license WSI and/or Lifeguard Certifications, including CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug testing Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays This position is not eligible for benefits. 01 One year experience working in a pool facility, administrative duties, and personnel management.
