About the Role(Assistant Dispensary Manager): The Assistant Dispensary Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary by overseeing and directing all day-to-day operations, including overseeing Lead Dispensary Agents, Dispensary Agents, Retail Inventory Leads, and Security Guards. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and management abilities, and solid administrative/clerical and time management skills. How youll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities): Assist with tasks with physical inventory including but not limited to: Order fulfillment, delivery intake, monitoring aging inventory, destruction oversight, reconciliations, and inventory discrepancies. Authorize product returns Assist with product recall processes Assist with the creation promotion development. Responsible for managing the daily menu based of the current inventory. Assist the Dispensary manager with required daily/monthly audits. Manage daily sales operations including but not limited to cash reconciliation, sales reporting, access inventory audits. Ensuring compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education. Oversight of any vendors and visitors. Assist with facilitating patient education events. Resolve patient concerns/requests Assist with staff conflict/coaching Assist with employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding Follow up on general building maintenance Scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications): Associates degree or equivalent, bachelors preferred. 1-2 years previous management experience. Cash management and inventory control skills. Familiarity with varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required. Computer skills necessary for running day to day operations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct. Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate proactivity, flexibility, adaptability, and multi-tasking. Mandatory Qualifications: The successful candidate will need to be 21 years of age and in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
