As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world's energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.Job Summary:Job Summary:The Complex Tendering Project Manager III is responsible for the costing, planning and execution support of complex upgrades and associated outages across the Americas, ensuring excellence across a number of key metrics, including SQDC, productivity & customer satisfaction.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Works closely with PES and GEV Commercial & Sales teams to provide tailored upgrade plans and cost estimates for upgrade opportunities to contribute to the OFS & GE Vernova operating plans Serve as Field Services SME in partnership with Engineering, Sourcing, Repairs, & PES teams in the development of execution strategies around upgrades ensuring competitiveness and execution excellence Develop field service cost estimates for complex and unique projects. Ensure all aspects of the job related to field service are planned accordingly, including schedule, cost, man loading, core outage/critical path impact, and job set-up. Develop or update standards as required Prepare outage offer, ensuring competitiveness in relation to scope, resourcing, timing and Follow opportunity through project lifecycle Support the planning and execution of projects from opportunity through closeout by reviewing updated project requirements, developing and updating cost estimates, escalating cost variances, and tracking performance relative to SQDC and KPI Support communication flow between event management, ITO, parts, repairs, sourcing, engineering, & PES to facilitate execution excellence across the life cycle of the project Support project execution, Day 0, close out and other calls as needed to ensure project success Own the monitoring of project costs of the project with the support of the value stream, productivity & project controls team. Perform As-sold vs. As-executed analysis for all projects Go to Gemba during the execution of the project to gather lessons learned for future projects Support, as required, end customer pre- and post-outage meetings to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness Review technical reports generated on site, update documentation, project status, and cost as required Partner with Regional & PES Operations teams to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field 10+ years applicable industry experience and demonstrated success/knowledge with a minimum of 4 years project management or Field Services leadership experience Experience with Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator field services requirements Ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization English proficiency required Desired Characteristics: Excellent customer facing and communication skills Commercial mindset with demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and winning stakeholder support for implementation Possess high level organizational ability, proven leadership and decision-making capabilities Strong Customer and One Team mindsets to deliver a competitive outage offer for GE Vernova every time Technical knowledge and understanding relevant to the product and its upgrade & maintenance Excellent planning and project management skills. Proactive in risk management & compliance matters Ability to track and analyze cost and schedule variance.
