Maintenance Technician Weekday Night Shift: The Maintenance Technician-I maintains, tests, and repairs production support equipment. Works with higher ranking technicians on required electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic related repairs. They will apply knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles as needed in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide skilled mechanical and electrical support to all areas of CNC Machining. What You Will Do Perform fluid concentration adjustments, filter installation, fluid, and oil maintenance on required equipment. Perform preventative maintenance & repair on a variety of support equipment and machines. Perform technical calibrations utilizing basic measuring equipment, as necessary. Install, start-up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and utilize LOTO procedures where required along with following OSHA requirements. Seek assistance from and communicate with higher ranking technicians, as necessary. Communicate & work with cross functional departments, as necessary. Maintains work orders in CMMS program. Continually seek to improve processes. Comply with all company quality and safety standards including PPE requirements. Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. What It Takes High School Diploma or equivalent 0-1 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic maintenance or repair Ability to demonstrate basic level of mechanical ability. Ability to solve problems that arise in a manufacturing environment without direct supervision Ability to use various hand-held and electronically powered tools Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization, including operations, engineering, and management, and to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
