Role: Test Architect Location : Hartford, Connecticut (Onsite)Full Time Primary Skill Test Management Test Architect PC Domain Product Knowledge Must Have Skills PC Domain Product Knowledge Test Management Test Architect Leadership Stakeholder Management Automation and Performance Testing Soft Skills Leadership People Management Communication Influence Strategic Thinking Collaboration Stakeholder Management Adaptability Change Management Core Responsibilities Own and drive endtoend testing strategy across multiple PC workstreams including largescale transformations or modernization programs Serve as the primary testing liaison to business development and senior leadership teams Define and execute comprehensive test strategies functional integration system regression performance scalability and reliability testing Architect and develop scalable test automation frameworks eg Selenium tailored to PC domains including UI API and backend interfaces Integrate frameworks with CICD pipelines Jenkins TeamCity GitLab CI ensuring continuous quality validation Implement shiftleft testing and establish performance and continuous testing practices Identify proactively manage and escalate risks and issues applying a riskbased testing approach Coordinate test teams onshoreoffshore and vendors manage timelines environments and resource planning Produce dashboards and status reports for senior leadership communicate test readiness and defect metrics Oversee test data modeling environments and integration RESTSOAP XML relational databases Mentor and guide QA teams on best practices framework usage and continuous quality improvement Required Qualifications 1015 years of software QAtesting experience with at least 5 years in architectural or strategic testing roles Domain expertise in PC insurance systems Policy Underwriting Insurity Guidewire DuckCreek or similar platforms Proven test automation and framework design skills using tools like Selenium JUnit TestNG RestAssured ReadyAPI Proficiency in scriptingprogramming languages Java Python Experience with test management and CICD tools ALM Jira qTest Jenkins TeamCity GitLab CI Familiarity with performance tools LoadRunner Jmeter Excellent leadership and communication skills for crossfunctional stakeholder engagement Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field certifications eg ISTQB are a plus Qualifying Questions 1 Do you have at least 1015 years of experience in software QAtesting with 5 years in a strategic or architectural QA leadership role 2 Have you worked on Property Casualty PC insurance systems like Guidewire Duck Creek Insurity or similar platforms 3 Have you led QA for largescale transformation or modernization programs in the insurance domain 4 Do you have handson experience designing test automation frameworks eg Selenium and integrating them with CICD tools like Jenkins TeamCity or GitLab CI 5 Are you comfortable leading onshoreoffshore QA teams and engaging with senior stakeholders for largescale transformation programs Desired Qualifications Experience with Guidewire DuckCreek or PAS platforms is highly valued Background in largescale insurance transformation programs and enterprise modernization Shiftleft testing approach and DevOpsCICDdriven QA mindset Exposure to emerging technologies AIML testing Secondary Nice To Have Skills NOT MANDATORY Test Strategy Governance RiskBased Testing Test Automation Architecture Selenium JUnit TestNG RestAssured ReadyAPI Java Python CICD Jenkins TeamCity GitLab CI Test Management ALM Jira qTest Performance LoadRunner JMeter ShiftLeft Testing Continuous Testing Guidewire Duck Creek Insurity PAS REST SOAP XML SQL RDBMS OnshoreOffshore Coordination Vendor Management Dashboarding Metrics Enterprise Modernization AIML Testing QA Coaching Mentoring
