Title: Jr. Informatica Admin Location: Minneapolis, MN Onsite Duration: 6 Months of Contract Required Skills & Experience: Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality (Infrastructure/Admin): 2-5 years IBM MQ & IBM ACE: 1-2 years Infrastructure provisioning tools (Chef / Ansible / Terraform): 1-2 years AWS SQS/SNS: 0-2 years Kafka (Self-managed or Cloud-native): 0-2 years RabbitMQ: 0-1 year Detailed Job Description: This role involves supporting integration intake requests from multiple projects and managing data transport platforms used to deliver services to application teams. The resource will support existing infrastructure and, where required, install and configure new platforms. Key Responsibilities: Handle integration intake requests for creating integrations between applications. Support, maintain, and set up existing and new technology platforms within the Data Transport team. Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, testing, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure platforms, primarily Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality. Install and configure large-scale systems on-prem and on AWS cloud using standardized, automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. Work with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, and Test-Kitchen. Design and implement integrations for messaging services and support application teams through testing and production rollout. Provide input into infrastructure and architecture design. Ensure platforms are secure, stable, compliant, and meet enterprise standards. Perform monitoring, performance tuning, backup & recovery, patch management, and troubleshooting. Resolve alerts, incidents, and perform remediation activities independently. Participate in on-call rotations, including offshore hours and weekends. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and follow Agile methodologies.
