Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Paint Booth Sprayer to join a High-end Cabinet Shop manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to cabinetry and related components using airless paint spraying equipment. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety standards to ensure a flawless finish on all products. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment where craftsmanship and efficiency are valued. Responsibilities Operate airless paint spraying equipment within the paint booth to apply coatings uniformly on cabinetry and parts. Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Set up and calibrate spray equipment, including maintaining proper pressure and spray patterns. Maintain cleanliness of the paint booth and surrounding work areas to comply with safety and quality standards. Inspect finished products for quality, color consistency, and surface imperfections; perform touch-ups as needed. Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Assist in assembly tasks when required, utilizing hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment. Document work progress and report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly. Skills Proven experience with industrial or wood painting techniques, including airless paint spraying. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings; experience with precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and quality checks. Experience in manufacturing environments, including lean manufacturing principles and woodshop operations. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in industrial painting applications.
