Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software Eaglesoft, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing. Collect and review patient information, ensuring accuracy in medical records and documentation review for compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history, updating electronic health records (EHR systems), and explaining treatment plans clearly. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain organized filing of dental records, medical records, and billing documents while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Assist with office management tasks such as appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and managing supplies to ensure smooth daily operations. Skills Extensive experience with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft Strong knowledge of dental terminology and ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing. Proven ability in insurance verification, claims submission, and understanding of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus. Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with front desk operations and administrative support is essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records, filing systems, and care plans while adhering to health information management standards.
