Role: Pega Developer Duration: Full Time Responsibilities This App Dev lead role, a Pega Software Engineer, will own design, development, delivery and warrant support of all features on the Agile Scrum team Partner with Dev Ops/CTO on environment readiness, QA and deployments This feature lead role will own software build quality, user experience, adherence to standards and team velocity This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Technical Skills: 6 or more years' experience in Pega and also with Pega 8 knowledge Demonstrated success in full lifecycle PEGA implementations (preferably PEGA 7 and 8) including live implementation in PEGA Pega Certified Senior System Architect or LSA (CSSA) Strong understanding & knowledge of PEGA concepts and implementation experience with PEGA connectors, performance tuning, decision trees, listeners, UI design, Integration, Security Model etc Experience with performance measurement tools like PAL, SMA, Alerts and PLA Specific Pega skills/experience: PRPC version 7.1.x , Prefer Pega 8.x Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience Perform regular code and design reviews Java development Pega Robotics Application Development Automation Solution Design Technical Strategy Development Architecture Business Acumen DevOps Practices Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Analytical Thinking Collaboration Data Management Risk Management Test Engineering Education Qualifications 4 Year Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Discipline
