About the Role EOTSS is seeking anIntegration Services Internto join a collaborative team of engineers and business analysts supporting enterprise integration platforms used by multiple agencies and external partners. This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise application support, production troubleshooting, requirements gathering, analysis, and technical documentation. The intern will contribute to the ongoing operation and enhancement of:A statewide Managed File Transfer (MFT) platformAn enterprise Online Report Viewing solutionAPI Services that enable secure data exchange between applications The intern will work under the guidance of senior engineers and analysts and gain exposure to both operational support and project-based initiatives. The primary work location for this role will be at200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, Massachusetts 02150.The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This position would be expected to follow ahybridmodel of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed. The Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid opportunity running through June 1 through August 7. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate (May 2026 graduation date). All offers of employment into this position are conditional and subject to passing: a Massachusetts Criminal Background Check (CORI); a security clearance (fingerprinting) consistent with IRS and/or public safety requirements; and security training. Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the administration and ongoing improvement of enterprise integration platforms (MFT, Online Report Viewing, and API Services)Assist with onboarding new customers by gathering and documenting requirements, performing configuration tasks, and supporting customer testingTroubleshoot and help resolve customer-reported issuesCollaborate with engineers and business analysts to deliver secure and reliable solutionsParticipate in daily operational support and project work as needed Learning Opportunities During this internship, the selected candidate will:Gain hands-on experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications used across Massachusetts state governmentLearn how large-scale system integrations are designed, supported, and maintainedDevelop strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrengthen written and verbal communication skills through collaboration with technical teams and customersGain exposure to APIs, secure file transfer protocols, enterprise reporting systems, and cloud-based environments Preferred QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsResults-oriented with strong customer service mindsetBasic understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP concepts), file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.
