Description The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all quality systems within the manufacturing operation to ensure consistent product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role drives quality strategy, develops and maintains effective processes, and partners closely with operations to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and strengthen accountability across the plant. Company Information Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all quality functions within the manufacturing facility Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensure consistent product quality Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives including COPQ, TQM, 6S/LEAN, Kaizen, and root cause analysis Identify quality issues, lead investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to align processes with quality objectives Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities Establish and monitor quality metrics and performance indicators Lead internal audits and support external audits as needed Support and maintain ISO certification efforts, including implementation and ongoing compliance Train, coach, and develop quality team members and cross-functional partners Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment Proven experience developing, designing, and implementing: Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Total Quality Management (TQM) 6S / LEAN Manufacturing Kaizen / Continuous Improvement Root Cause Analysis Demonstrated experience leading quality system improvements with measurable results Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence across departments Strong communication and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading or supporting ISO certification implementation and maintenance Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume manufacturing environments Core Competencies: Process-driven mindset Hands-on leadership approach Strong problem-solving skills Ability to align processes to consistent, accountable quality outcomes Comfortable working cross-functionally and driving change Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, or climb for extended periods. Lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Tolerate exposure to manufacturing noise, temperature variations, and other shop conditions.
