Maintenance Technician II

Description Showplace Cabinetry is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our production and facility systems. This position offers a highly desirable four 10-hour shift schedule, providing a consistent workweek and extended weekends. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician II performs intermediate-level mechanical and basic electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility equipment. This role works independently on assigned tasks while supporting equipment installations and reliability improvements. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, pumps, and process systems Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and schematics Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level technicians Fabricate and repair production fixtures including carts, racks, and benches Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience Intermediate mechanical and pneumatic knowledge; basic electrical knowledge Ability to read prints and layouts Ability to interpret pneumatic and basic electrical schematics Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Basic steel fabrication abilities Work Schedule - A Key Benefit Four 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) Three-day weekends every week Occasional additional hours only as needed Why Showplace?
