Job Description

Program Assistant The Program Assistant provides front-line customer service and administrative support. This role handles client inquiries, routes calls, assists with applications, updates records, and provides program status information to applicants and landlords. Key Responsibilities: Provide customer service in person, by phone, and via email Answer and route multi-line agency phones; take and forward messages Assist applicants with program information, waitlist status, and online applications Review and process applications; help residents upload documents Research client cases and update internal software and tracking logs Schedule program appointments and prepare correspondence Maintain confidentiality and accurate records Perform clerical support and other assigned duties Qualifications: High School diploma or GED 4+ years of customer service experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain professionalism, and manage deadlines Working hours are 8 to 5 Monday to Friday. $20/hr. Position could become full time with the company.
