REQUIREMENT Senior / Lead - Database Disaster Recovery - Onsite Role Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 6-12 Months+ Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end database assessments across environments Analyze business criticality and map applications to databases Define RTO and RPO requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders Assess current backup, restore, replication, and DR mechanisms Identify gaps between current state vs target RTO/RPO Recommend DR architectures (active-active, active-passive, multi-region, replication) Validate backup strategies (full, incremental, log backups, snapshots) Support DR drills and restore testing Document assessment findings, risks, and recommendations Provide cost vs resilience trade-off analysis Work closely with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Cloud teams RTO/RPO definition and validation. Backup, restore and disaster recovery strategy system Strong experience with enterprise databases such as - SQL server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
